its provinces; Lampung. Lampung province is located in Sumatra Island; it is
the main gate of Sumatra to enter Java Island via Bakau Heni port. If you come
from Jakarta, you can reach Lampung for about 7 hours to its capital city, Bandar
Lampung. But today we will not discuss about its capital city, we will discuss
about one of its well-known tourism destinations; Canti beach.
Canti is located at South of Lampung regency. You can reach it from Bandar Lampung for about 2.5 hours by using your car/public transportation like bus. When you arrive at the beach, you will find the ticket spot. You only need to pay 10.000-20.000 IDR to enter the beach. The beach is fully managed by the local people there. In this beach, you can find many small shops/stalls managed by the residents there. You can buy snacks, drinks, or even mats to prepare your foods/beverages.

When you arrive at the beach, you will be welcomed
by a fresh air. Unlike other beaches, Canti beach provides you the fresh air
because it is near to Raja Basa Mountain and the place is still natural. You
will not find a fisher boat which uses a machine; all fisher boats use a
traditional tool. The sands are still pristine, the color is bright white and it has a smooth contour. Not far from the beach, there is a Krakatoa Mountain.
The food stalls are so many there, so you don’t
need to worry if you want to buy some traditional foods if you’re hungry.
During holidays, Canti beach is visited by many
tourists. Not only from Lampung, but also from other
provinces or cities in Indonesia such as Jakarta and Bandung.
The facility of toilet is also available for the
visitors. But you cannot find any entertainment facilities like banana boat etc. here
because it is still a social-based management area, the facilities are not that
perfect. Yet, if you are the one who always wants to find an exotic tourism
destination and the place which is still natural, far from a hectic life of the city, Canti beach can be your best option.
