some weeks ago we review about Canti beach and Mengkudu Island, today we will
go to West Lampung regency to review about Tanjung Setia beach. It is a famous
tourism spot too in Lampung. This beach is located in Tanjung Setia village,
West Lampung regency, Lampung Province, Indonesia. The wave is so strong as
Tanjung Setia is directly adjacent to the Indian Ocean. If you come from
Jakarta, you can take flight from Soekarno-Hatta airport to Beranti airport,
Lampung. You need to take 7-8 hours trip from Bandar Lampung (Beranti airport)
to Tanjung Setia village. The landscape it serves is so beautiful, you will not
be disappointed by this tourism spot.
In
some parts of the beach, the wave can reach about 10-13 meters combined with the
wave length that can reach about 200 meters, so, it is so suitable to have a surfing
activity here. For your information, it has been a long time for Tanjung Setia
beach to be visited by many foreign tourists. They come from many countries like
Europe and Australia. The government there has also provided the tourists for
hotels or lodgings. The lodging rates are varied, you can choose from the
cheapest until the luxurious one. Some hotels/lodgings around Tanjung Setia

and Ombak Indah Losmen [3].
The
surfing areas in Tanjung Setia beach are in Way Jambu beach, Mandiri beach, Way
Redak beach, Labuhan Jukung beach and Pugung beach which is so famous with its
Fimmi’s wave. As the additional information, every year on July, the local
government always holds a cultural festival called as “Semarak Wisata Tanjung
Setia”. This is a value-added event that is aimed to attract the tourists at
Tanjung Setia. The event consists of volley tournament, surfing tournament, beach
soccer and many more.
