Going to The Beach in South of Lampung? Here are The Famous Spots

Going to the beach can be the brilliant idea to spend your holiday. It can be said, almost all people agree and admit that seeing the ocean and sands can relax our mind and soul after being pressured by our routine activities. Going to the beach will be more exciting if we invite our friends, colleagues and families. You can regain of what the meaning of life because no matter how busy you are in your daily life, there should be a free time for your closest people to get in touch with you. South of Lampung actually has been so famous for its many beautiful beaches for a long time, but it is just today that the sound screams louder. In my opinion, South of Lampung beaches are getting famous is also supported by the booming of social media. People just can’t stop posting and recommending the beautiful places that they ever visited to their friends through postings, and therefore South of Lampung’s beautiful beaches also touch people’s heart.

For your information, there are many beaches in South of Lampung. The list below can be your good reference of to which beach that I should visit for my next holiday!

1. Pulau Mengkudu (Mengkudu Island)

This is an island anyway, but it also has a beautiful beach; a long string of white pure sands is its most famous spot in this island for all visitors. It is located near to Rajabasa village. The facility like snokeling has been available there.

2. Kahai Beach

Kahai beach is actually still in one spot with Mengkudu island, both are only separated for few kilometers. The facility is not as complete as Mengkudu has, but it still can provide an enjoyable vacation for you through its beautiful beach and sands.   

3. Grand Elty Krakatoa

Grand Elty was named as “Kalianda Resort” in several years ago. It is indeed the resort and  hotel that serves you the beauty of Kalianda beach. The facility is the most complete than any other tourism spot in South of Lampung. There are banana boat, volley field, sport center and many more. For me, I think Grand Elty is the most reachable tourism spot in South of Lampung. It is near to the central city of region because you only need to spend 20 minutes from the downtown to this resort.

4. Bagus Beach (Pantai Bagus)

Similar with Kahai beach, Bagus beach is also close to Grand Elty, they are almost in one spot. The facility is not as complete as Grand Elty too, but for an affordability of cost, you can say Bagus beach can be the best recommendation if you want to get into toursim spot that is close to the downtown of Kalianda.

5. Wartawan Beach (Pantai Wartawan)

It is also near to Kahai and Mengkudu island. A local-organized tourism spots. The beach is quite good (well, at least in my opinion, it is categorized as “medium”). 

Well, actually there are many “unknown” beaches around South of Lampung, but I think 5 beaches above are the most famous after all. Now please select by yourself, which one do you prefer to spend your holiday? Happy traveling 
